Hola, I’m Nicola!
I’m a Canadian surfer, photographer, and cinematographer based in the vibrant heart of Cabo San Lucas, where I’ve been lucky to call home for the past several years. I'm originally from Kelowna and graduated from Vancouver Film School in 2021 and have been working professionally behind the lens for over five years specializing in couple, wedding, event photography, and creative film here in the Baja. Photography isn’t just a profession for me, it’s a passion and a way of life. It’s how I connect with people, places, and the magical, fleeting moments that make life beautiful. I’m inspired by nature, light, community, and the raw connection between humans and the world around us.

Whether I'm documenting love stories on the beaches of Baja, capturing the energy of a celebration, or traveling across the globe for documentary photography, my goal is always the same. To create timeless, soulful images that feel like you. A visual form of poetry that captures the essence of your story.

Nicola did an amazing job! I booked her for a maternity and family photoshoot in one. She provided very good location options that were better than the original locations I thought I wanted. She was so friendly and made us feel comfortable with posing the whole time. She was at the location even before us (sunrise). She gave us the edited pictures so timely and they came out even better than I expected! There are so many good ones we don’t know which to print. lol Amazing value for our money, so glad we went with Nicola!
